A school-run service built around clear handovers
A school pickup driver in Dubai can support a recurring family routine when every part of the journey is agreed in advance. We provide the professional driver, and you provide the family car. This is not a school bus, taxi fleet or vehicle-rental service. Children travel in the familiar car you prepare for them.
Before the first journey, confirm the home pickup point, school name, correct gate, reporting time, dismissal time and final handover location. Identify the adults authorised to release and receive each child. A written routine reduces uncertainty and gives everyone the same information.
What families should share before booking
Send the child’s school schedule, required days, pickup and drop-off times, exact locations, passenger count and any stops involving siblings. Explain whether an adult will travel with the child and provide the names and phone numbers of the adults responsible at each handover. Do not send sensitive documents or unnecessary personal details in the first enquiry.
Tell us about early-finish days, activities, exam timetables or different Friday hours. If several schools are involved, list their gates and times in the correct order. We will review whether the route can work safely and realistically.
Your car and the right passenger restraints
You are responsible for providing a roadworthy, legally usable car and the child restraints or seat belts required for its passengers. Install and check child seats before pickup, and explain anything the driver needs to know about their use. The number of passengers must never exceed the legal seating available in your vehicle.
Keep fuel or charge at a suitable level and make sure registration or access items are available. Store school bags where they do not obstruct the driver. If a child has mobility, communication or other important travel needs, discuss them before booking so suitability can be reviewed.

School entrances can be busy, and travel time changes with traffic, weather, roadworks and queues. Build a buffer into both morning and afternoon schedules. Share the exact gate rather than only the school name, and mention access stickers, parking rules or security procedures that affect arrival.
If the route includes more than one child or school, fixed times must be compatible. We will not promise an unrealistic sequence simply to accept a booking. A workable plan is more valuable than a schedule that depends on perfect traffic every day.
Guardian communication and schedule changes
Choose one main booking contact and at least one backup adult for urgent communication. Decide how the family will notify us about absence, illness, early dismissal or a different authorised adult. Changes should be sent as early as possible and confirmed; a message alone should not be treated as accepted until you receive a reply.
Children should know the agreed pickup process but should not be made responsible for managing the booking. If the driver cannot locate the correct gate or authorised adult, the booking contacts must be reachable. Clear adult-to-adult communication is essential.
Choosing weekly or monthly school-run support
A five-day weekly driver package is AED 1,800 and includes up to ten hours on each scheduled day. The monthly package is AED 5,500 for six days per week and up to ten hours per scheduled day. These packages may include other family journeys inside the confirmed daily window when the route and timing are agreed.
School runs with split morning and afternoon periods need a schedule review. Share the full day rather than only the two school times, including where the car and driver are expected between journeys. We will explain the suitable booking format and confirm the price.
School pickup is different from office transport
This service is designed around family and school handovers. If you need transport for employees, staff shifts or a company commute, our corporate driver service is the better place to discuss business requirements, billing and service levels. Keeping the two purposes separate makes communication and responsibility clearer.
A family may still combine school and office stops in its own car when the itinerary fits. Explain the complete household route and who will travel. We will review the schedule as a family-driver requirement rather than presenting it as a public passenger service.
How to begin a school-run arrangement
Start with the school calendar, required weekdays, home area, school gate, morning reporting time, dismissal time, passenger count and authorised contacts. We check availability and discuss a weekly, monthly or customised schedule. Review all details before the first date and keep the confirmation accessible.
On the first day, allow extra time for introductions, vehicle controls and gate access. After the journey, correct any practical detail while it is fresh. Recurring service works best when changes are communicated early and the family keeps the car ready for every scheduled pickup.
Review the routine as the school calendar changes
School timetables do not remain identical throughout the year. Term starts, examinations, activity days, parent meetings, holidays and early dismissals can change the normal route. Keep the booking schedule aligned with the current calendar and send updates before the affected day.
If a journey is cancelled, do not assume the unused time automatically moves to another date. Ask how the change affects the confirmed package. When home, school or authorised-contact details change, review the full handover plan again so an old instruction is not followed by mistake.
